Friendly Fill-Ins

Friendly Fill-Ins Week 64

Here are my fill-ins for this week.

1. As a child, my favorite playground activity was the swings.  I just loved to to as high as I could.

2. For breakfast, I have coffee.  I don’t like to eat right after I get up.

3. An instrument I would like to play is the piano.  I started to learn when I was in my teens, but I had such a hard time reading the music.  So, I gave it up.

4. I always try to make peace with whomever I have had a disagreement with right away because you never know when the opportunity for forgiveness will run out.  I learned that valuable lesson the hard way.

About Wanda

I am a Catholic widow, mother, grandmother, friend and according to my kids just a little bit crazy. My faith is paramount in my life. Spending time with my family, especially my four grandchildren is one of my most treasured blessings. I love Redskins football, Phillies baseball, NASCAR, quilting, genealogy and I am a bibliophile and struggling blogger.

  1. Wanda, these are great answers. I am like you about COFFEE! I also am like you with #4. When I disagree with someone, or they with me, I try to set it right immediately. It is okay to not agree, but we need to accept that and move on. I do. This is what my #4 was about. Hugs!

Great answers, my #’s 1 and 3 are the same. I was older than a teen though when I tried piano, I was in my 30’s.I like your #4 a lot. Have a nice weekend!

  3. I’ve always enjoyed the swings, too.

I agree with your response to #4. We never know when it is going to be too late. It is better to put pride aside and forgive than to live with regret and what might have beens.

    Have a blessed weekend. 🙂

Your number 4 is spot on. We never know when the last time we saw someone will be the last time. Have a great week.
