Flower of the Day – May 22, 2018
Flower of the Day is hosted by Cee’s Photography.
Because I don’t have access to gardens right now, I went shopping and took photos of the flowers at various stores and nurseries. I have no idea what this is. I guess I should have asked. 🙂
Taraxacum officinale
Better known as the Dandelion. I was outside yesterday and came across this beauty. It’s the first sign of spring here in the woods. I ran for my camera and grabbed a shot. That is not snow behind the blooms, it’s sand. So, here is my flower of the day. Afterall, most flowers were once weeds, right? 🙂

Flower of the Day – Thursday
These roses are in the Mary, Queen of the Universe Shrine’s Rosary garden. They were at the end of blooming but I just love the shades of pink.

Calla Lily- Monday, August 14, 2017
Calla Lilies are planted on each side of the main doors at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Orlando, FL. I love these flowers, they remind me of my grade school days at St. Francis of Assisium in Trenton, New Jersey. We always carried them in a procession on Holy Thursday evening.

Flower of the Day – Begonia
I spent the day at Sea World yesterday. I had a wonderful time with my Frank and Dottie and her great niece and nephew. I am playing catch up today with my challenges.
Begonias were my husbands favorite flower for our gardens in the summertime. We had them all over the place in the shady areas.

Flower of the Day – Water Lily
The pond near church was filled with these beautiful huge water lilies this morning. I shot this right after Mass.
