I had a lovely day with my friend Jane. It had been so long since we had done anything together. Even the weather cooperated. Every time it down poured rain we were not on the road. We went to the Horry County’s Quilt Gala in Myrtle Beach and had lunch out. I am always amazed at the talent displayed at quilt shows. Of course shopping at the Vendors area is fun too. But I behaved myself and only purchased a Quilt Of Valor pin to put on my guild name badge. I love the quilting pins and after all you just have to buy something from a quilt show. I got to see some of my quilting friends that I have missed since they no longer commute to attend the guild where I belong. It is always great to catch up on with old friends. I came home very inspired and have decided that I will make a list of my UFO’s (unfinished quilt projects) and complete them before I start anything new. Sounds good right? Maybe if I make my list public it will boost my success.
Apparently while I was gone today it got very windy with the rain. I had to pull over on the side of the road so I could move tree limbs from our road. One was so heavy I couldn’t lift it. Good thing it was more on the side of the road than in the road.
OK, got the blogging bug out of my system for now, I’m off to work on that list.
