Here are my answers to Cee Neuner’s SYW Challenge.

What do you do when you’re not working? If you are retired, what do you that is not part of your regular daytime routine?

I am retired so I spend my days doing all of the things I never had time to do.  I quilt almost every day when I am home.  I have really gotten into my photography hobby, so every time I get a chance I grab my camera and go somewhere I can get some good shots.  I have started making jewelry, which is fun.  But my most favorite thing to do is spend time with my grandchildren.  I have four of them.  Three live close by, one is here in Florida and I will see her next week.  I am so excited.

What would you do if you won the lottery?

If I won the lottery I would buy myself a really good camera.  I would get a new bigger embroidery machine.  I would travel.  I have always wanted to see Italy, especially Rome, and Ireland.  Then I would make sure my grandchildren had the money to go to college when they are grown, and finally I would give to charity.

What makes you laugh the most?

Being with my friends.  I can’t tell you the amount of laughter I have enjoyed when I am with any of them.  I am very blessed.  I have four true friends.  They would be at my side if I needed them in a heart beat and they are all in different states from me.  I would do the same for them as well.  We have a long history together so explanations for laughter are not necessary.

What is your biggest pet peeve with modern technology?

I hate when programs are updated when they are working just fine.

Optional Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I am so grateful that my girl friend’s husband is really making progress with his recuperation from his illness.  I am looking forward to his continued progress this week, and for sunny days.  It rained an awful lot last week.  🙂
