I am sure you have all seen these keep calm graphics around the net.  I couldn’t resist posting this one.  That’s what I have been doing all day.  Reading a book.  It’s been lazy days around here so far this week.

First of all, the race was cancelled on Sunday and they ran yesterday.  Another disappointing race. Kasey didn’t finish well. He did however run better than his finish showed.  After the race was done, I didn’t feel like doing anything but vegging out on the sofa.  So I never even came in here to post to my blog.

Second of all, the weather has still been rainy with thunder storms.   I am beginning to think we should either build an ark or grow some feathers.

After having a delicious salad for dinner it was back to my book.  Of course later we watched our Monday night TV shows.  Rizzoli & Isles and then Major Crimes.  I love these shows.  It’s the last season for Rizzoli and Isles.  I hate that the series is done after this year.  It’s interesting to see how they are filling out the characters in the show.

There have been a lot of our shows that have ended this year.  Downton Abby, Royal Pains, Mike & Molly, CSI Cyber, Person Of Interest, and The Good Wife have all ended.  That’s a lot of viewing time that has opened up.  I sure hope the networks have something good to put in their slots.  Some of the new shows leave a lot to be desired.  Since when is stupidity funny?  I look at my grown children and shake my head.  They are roaring and I’m just shaking my head.

Actually, I can take TV or leave it.   Since I like to go to bed around 10 PM I am happy that my 10 o’clock shows are gone.  There are plenty of things to keep me busy instead of watching TV.  Right? Quilts to make, books to read, baby hats to crochet…
