Back To Normal

Well the kids left Sunday to go back to Miami. They’ll be up here in a month or so. Can’t wait.

About that race on Sunday. Well there were four Red Flags and a lot of rain. They put more laps down the first half in caution laps than actual racing laps. Anyway after 5 1/2 hours the race was called and they had just gone over half way. Kasey finished 15th. I can’t say that I have enjoyed a race less than this one.

Yesterday we spent getting things back to normal here and caught up on some much needed rest. Today I thought I would update my blog and pick out a UFO to finish. Not having much luck. I have four Cancer Survivor Quilts to quilt and a couple of Baby Quilts to put labels on for the hospital. My long-arm keeps calling my name. 🙂

Look what was outside to greet me today. A baby bunny! Isn’t he cute?

We got some other news this weekend too. My older daughter and her family are moving into a new house. It’s beautiful. I’m only sorry she’ll be a little farther away from me. But we all have to do what is best for us so I understand the move.

Boy is it hot today. Supposed to reach 100°. Thank the good Lord for air-conditioning. Keep cool!
