Flower of the Day – May 21, 2018 – A Surprise In My Forest
Aren’t these little daisy-like flowers pretty? I found them blooming near the edge of my forest. I think they are actually weeds. But who cares? They are all over and I love them.

My allergies showed up yesterday. I thought it was early for them until I drove down the road and realized that the ornamental pear trees began to bloom overnight. I love these trees when they are in bloom. The flowers don’t last too long, but they are wonderful while they last.

Better known as the Dandelion. I was outside yesterday and came across this beauty. It’s the first sign of spring here in the woods. I ran for my camera and grabbed a shot. That is not snow behind the blooms, it’s sand. So, here is my flower of the day. Afterall, most flowers were once weeds, right? 🙂
