You Know You’re Getting Old When…

You open your blog and find that you haven’t posted in over a year but it just seems like it’s only been a few weeks! Honestly, I don’t know where the time goes. Of course, I cannot believe I turned 71 on my last birthday. Funny I don’t feel 71, but then again I don’t know what 71 is supposed to feel like. In my head, I am still in my thirties. Can you say delusional? LOL Since my youngest child is in her late thirties (a fact that simply amazes me) I am destined to be rudely brought back to reality.

There are a few things I wish I had more time for. I haven’t spent much time on my photography since I am working full-time. My quilting hobby has also suffered and it goes without saying my blogging has taken a hit. Realizing this, I have decided to make a few changes going forward. I am working on a schedule for myself that will include time for the things I love to do. I guess it is at this point that I have to be honest with myself and admit that I really do like working so I will be realistic about just how much I can accomplish in a specific period of time.

Here’s to jumping on the blogging bandwagon and swapping words with old friends.
