Would you rather live where it is always hot or always cold?
I prefer to live in a hot climate. As long as there is air conditioning. I grew up in the North East part of the USA and the winters were brutal. Cold, damp and dark. I migrated to the Coastal Carolina’s where the winters are much milder. It gets below freezing at night, but by day break its much milder. It’s only May 1st, but it’s already been in the high 80’s.
Do you prefer long hair or short hair for yourself?
I keep my hair short mostly. I had it long when I got married, once about 25 years later for a short time and just about 3 years ago. My husband liked it long, but I am too busy to keep it that way. So as far as I am concerned short is the way to go.
What is your favorite month of the year?
I love September for a few reasons. First, it’s the month I was born. Who doesn’t like their birth month? Second, it’s the month I married my wonderful husband. Third, the colors are amazing. Especially in the mountains. My favorite colors are reds, oranges, golds, etc.
What is the easiest way for your to learn something new? By reading, by seeing and doing, in a classroom?
I learn best by a combination of the three. I always do better with a demonstration.
Optional Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am grateful for spending so much time with my daughter Kelly and her family. I got to see them three days last week. My grandchildren are the light of my life. This week I am looking forward to dog sitting my dear friend’s dog Digger. He is a beautiful old man of a dog who is gentle and loves my Gracie who is enamored with him. I am also looking forward to quilting a quilt for our next Habitat house which will be completed this month.
