Pilgrimage and Exile: Mother Marianne of MolokaiPilgrimage and Exile: Mother Marianne of Molokai by Mary Laurence Hanley

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed this biography of St. Marianne Cope. It was the story of her dedication and care of the lepers in Molokai. I was interested in her because she was recently canonized and was in the order of nuns I had as teachers when I was in elementary school. These nuns were the most wonderful women I have ever known. St. Marianne truly lived the philosophy of St. Francis.

Back on Blossom Street (Blossom Street, #4)Back on Blossom Street by Debbie Macomber

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The third in the Blossom Street series. Well actually the 4th. The third one is on hold at the library for me. I really like this series. Debbie Macomber has a wonderful way of wrapping the lives of her characters around each other with unexpected twists. Looking forward to the rest of the books.
