Here are this week’s questions.
What goal are you working on now? Your goal can be something fun or extremely serious. Have fun with this question.
Right now I have my most immediate goal on hold as I am not home. If I were home, my goal would be making my four grandchildren new quilts for their Christmas presents. They have not gotten new ones in a couple of years and I have been reminded about it several times. I should have brought my featherweight sewing machine down to Florida with me so I could at least get some piecing done, but I didn’t give it a thought. So, looks like I will be burning the midnight oil when I return home.
However, since I cannot work on my quilting I am working on posting on my blog at least daily.
What is one thing you’re glad you tried but would never do again?
I tried skiing when I was in college. I made it down the hill by my own power and even standing on my skis, but I didn’t enjoy it. I have never done it since and won’t ever do it again. It’s clearly not my thing.
Did you choose your profession or did it choose you?
I was chosen by my profession. Being a nurse is something I was destined to be. From the time I was a little girl it’s all I ever wanted to do.
Have you ever gotten lost?
Oh yes, I have been lost many times. I think it’s because I have never been afraid to jump in the car and take off to someplace I had never been before. Today with smart phones and GPS’ it’s not nearly as much fun as it used to be. I always looked at getting lost as an adventure.
Optional Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am very grateful that my son in law is feeling better. His diabetes was a bit out of control and he had his meds changed.
I am looking forward to getting out to take some more photos this week.
