Welcome to my blog.

This is the cow mascot for my creations. You will soon learn that I love cows. Am obsessed with cows and just can’t get enough of them. Not sure why I got bitten by the cow bug, but I did back in 1992 and it’s been bordering on a sickness ever since. My family and friends just shake their heads at me. I am fortunate enough to live by two farms that have cows. I have always wanted to have a farm with cows so this is the best of two worlds. I get to visit them but don’t have all the work that goes into them. And I just love it when I can hear them mooing. I also have a neighbor that raises birds. He has peacocks, geese, turkeys, chickens, roosters, quail, guinea hens, ducks, and I don’t know what else. So now I have ten geese that come and visit me a couple of times a day. I just love it. My favorite one I named Gus. He’s different from the other geese. And now there is a white duck that follows them and visits too. The guinea hens roam all over our property too. We started throwing corn out for them. Now when they come and there is no corn they make a terrible racket honking. 🙂

About Wanda

I am a Catholic widow, mother, grandmother, friend and according to my kids just a little bit crazy. My faith is paramount in my life. Spending time with my family, especially my four grandchildren is one of my most treasured blessings. I love Redskins football, Phillies baseball, NASCAR, quilting, genealogy and I am a bibliophile and struggling blogger.
